By Dr. Eleanor Vance | Published on October 12, 2025

Players looking to add a little more meat to their Halo Wars experience need look no further than Xbox Live Marketplace, where the rummy star Strategic options downloadable content is now available for purchase.

Announced last month, the Strategic Options pack introduces three new single and multiplayer skirmish game types to help players play out the war between humanity and the Covenant. Keepaway Mode is basically Capture the Flag with a free-roaming Forerunner Sentinel in place of a flag; Tug of War Mode has players trying to build the biggest army; and Reinforcement Mode, which pits players against successive waves of enemies with an ever-changing set of units at their disposal.

Some games take a while to load on mobile, but once they start, the gameplay is smooth and exciting. I hope future updates improve mobile performance, but I still enjoy playing several hours a day.

Some games are a bit laggy on my phone at times, but the variety of games and the smooth desktop experience make up for it. Overall, the website offers a great gaming experience for both casual and serious players.

I wish there were more free spins available, but even with the current promotions, I have a lot of fun. The themed slot games are creative and engaging, keeping the gameplay fresh and entertaining every day.
