All Tekken 8 characters and upcoming fighters

By Dr. Eleanor Vance | Published on November 30, 2025

Get ready for the next battle! Tekken 8 is just around the corner—January 26 to be exact—and it's set to launch with a yono arcade huge base roster of 32 fighters.

Bandai Namco has been teasing each character over the last several months, and we now have special individual trailers for almost every single fighter. They give us a little glimpse into each of their fighting styles, new moves and bombastic rage arts. Not only that, but we've just had the first of four DLC characters revealed as part of Tekken 8's Season 1 pass.

While most of Tekken 8's roster consists of returning characters from previous entries, there are some new faces here too. Not only that, but we've got the return of long-absent characters like Jun Kazama, and updated versions of fighters like Jack-8. As we get ever closer to the next King of Iron Fist tournament, here is every character set to be in the base roster when the game releases, as well as the currently confirmed DLC character.

Tekken 8 character roster

Like I said before, Tekken 8 is set to launch with an eye-watering 32 characters in its base roster. If you're unsure which one to pick or if you're looking to see how Bandai Namco has changed your main, almost every single fighter now has their own special individual trailer. I've taken the liberty of linking each trailer below so you can check them out at your leisure.

Tekken 8 upcoming fighters

We know that Tekken 8's yono business sbi Season 1 Pass is going to yono business include four fighters available to purchase as DLC. They'll be releasing over the seasons: One in spring, summer, autumn and winter.

The first fighter was recently revealed at the Tekken World Tour 2023 Tekken Talk Live (a mouthful, I know) and hopefully we'll be seeing who the rest are sooner rather than later.
